Miles Davis: Kind of Blue Documentary


The Kind of Blue album by Miles Davis is acclaimed by many as the greatest Jazz album of all time and also one of the most influential albums of all time.

This documentary looks at the events that led up to recording and launch of the album. The album was recording in 1959 and featured many of the most influential musicians in the field of Jazz including saxophonists John Coltrane and Julian ‘Cannonball’ Adderley, pianist Wynton Kelly, basist Paul Chambers, drummer Jimmy Cobb and pianist Bill Evans.
