Tony Robbins discusses the power of marketing with Eben Pagan

Tony Robbins is arguably one of the greatest sales people on the planet and his companies turn over billions of dollars each year. He has worked with some of the most influential people in the world including Oprah Winfrey, Bill Clinton, Andre Agassi, Paul Tudor Jones, and many others. His style frightens many due to his intensity and ability to make others do what he wants them to do. He even appeared as himself in the 2001 movie Shallow Hal where he hypnotizes the main character Hal to change his perceptions about seeing the beauty in people.

He speaks to Eben Pagan who is an entrepreneur who is probably most famously known as his alias ‘David Deangelo.’ Eben was involved in the seduction community, which exploded in the mid 2000s and unleashed a series of men across the world known as ‘pickup artists’ who would use scripted presentations to attract unsuspecting women. He was also featured in the bestseller from Neil Strauss called ‘The Game’ which gave an inside look at the seduction community at that time.

Eben carved out a unique niche in his business entitled ‘Double Your Dating’ by incorporating evolutionary biology and other techniques including ‘deep inner game’ and ‘cocky funny’ sarcastic lines to create an edge. He associated with the father of the seduction community Ross Jeffries who used a mixture of manipulation, hypnosis and neuro linguistic programming (NLP) techniques to attract women known as ‘Speed Seduction.’ Eben lacked a lot of the style and presence of the other pickup artists and yet he created one of the most successful businesses in the entire community that generated millions each year and employed 80 people around the world.

Eben now helps entrepreneurs to improve grow their businesses and he has created a number of products and courses that utilises his experience and expertise.
